Website Design, and content strategy
Proyecto Uremu is a non-profit dedicated to teaching orchestral music in San Pedro Sula, Honduras; they provide free music lessons to children in at risk areas of the city. Their website tells their story over the last three years, and it is their main portal to attract new donors and volunteers. They wanted the website to focus on their students, highlighting the bonds they’ve formed over the years together.
The design needed to be clean, modern, and bright staying close to their brand. The design and content revision took only a few weeks thanks to our long-standing work relationship. I made an update to their logo, the simple “Uremu”letters logo –without the notes or the tag line- will be used sporadically and only when the original can not be used due to lack of space. The current web design will allow it to grow with the organization, and be easily updated. The page vs. subpage dynamic is easy to follow with photos used as featured images for the main pages, and solid colors from the brand as the feature for the subpages. Theirs hosting platform makes it easy to customize pages as needed and to add content call to actions to the homepage.
